Feb 3rd, 2016 – Pictures: Nigerian Firefighter, Maxwell Afujue Who Died While Putting Out Fire At Onitsha Market In Onitsha Anambra Buried
On the 7th of December, 2015, an official of Anambra Fire Service died after a building collapsed on him at Ochanga Market in Onitsha around 3:15am.
Engineer Maxwell Afujue was one of the firefighters who took on courage to advance inside the market buildings in an effort to quickly quench the raging fire but sadly while advancing a story building collapsed on them.
Afujue died instantly while his partner escaped with grave injuries.
He was laid to rest last week in Onitsha.
