Officials of Ogun State Police have arrested a five-man gang of kidnappers, who have been terrorising residents of Ijebu area of the state for allegedly abducting a man who just returned to the country from abroad.

Fuel scarcity in Nigeria has become a major issue for many citizens.

So one Oyinbo woman hustling in Lagos was spotted yesterday at the back of a Taxi cab.

Trust Lagosians, the moment they saw her, they assumed she was a victim of kidnappers but her smiley face calmed their nerves.

Motorists who spotted her said she opted for the boot because she couldn’t find a seat inside the taxi.

How Paul Okoye Got Mocked Over Fuel Scarcity

Paul Okoye, one of the singing duo of Psquare, got himself mocked by his fans few hours ago over fuel scarcity.

The singer took to his Instagram page about 22 hours ago to rant about the fuel scarcity that has hit the country, acknowledging that it has affected a celebrity like him. He went further to lament how celebs like him hop from bike (motorcycle) to keke (Tricycle) like an average Nigerian despite their massive cars.

“Nawaoo!!!! Give us light, you people refuse, we bought generators, to help ourselves, una collect fuel and diesel, roads are empty no cars, my fellow celebs wahala dey!! Soon we shall all drop our pride and our shoulders to hump on keke and Okada …seriously this fuel scarcity no get respect …Eh no send wether u be celeb…infact this fuel ain’t loyal atall atall..”

The singer’s update, however, got a number of his followers angry as they think his update is selfish and does not portray what a true celeb should have posted.

Residents of a village called Odoyanta in Ijebu Ode Ogun State are still living in shock after the arrest of some kidnappers on a fish farm located in the village.

The suspects totaling three reportedly kidnapped a fish farmer feeding his fish this afternoon but in the process of chaining him, another villager spotted them.

The witness who saw them quickly ran back into the village to alert residents who immediately ran into the bush only to find the victim (a 24-year-old man simply identified as Rahimi) chained.

The kidnappers took to their heels but the residents were able to apprehend 2 of them.

The suspects later confessed that the Iyalode of the town sent them to provide a young man for ritual purpose.
