8 gunmen today killed 2 police officers attached to Pache Construction Company, a Lebanese-owned firm located in Onuegbum area of Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa.
According to witnesses, the criminals escaped around 12:20pm in 2 speeding boats.
The gunmen kidnapped 2 Lebanese men identified as Sarki Abi Chmouli and Ibrahim Abi Pherem during the attack.
Bayelsa Police Spokesman, Astimin Butswat who confirmed the attack said the corpses of the policemen had been deposited at FMC mortuary for autopsy.
