The Nollywood actress cum movie producer took to IG to share her weight loss secret with fans.
The beautiful mother of three shared her daily routine with fans in a bid to help them out while sharing her success story.
In her words:
It’s on!!! Detox time!!! Don’t be angry if I don’t have energy to talk to you for the next one week! Juicing and smoothies! Let’s go!
I enjoy making my juices and smoothies myself. It gives me total control. I know EXACTLY what is going in my body. If you can’t make yours though, there are a number of reputable whole food stores or juice stores around.

Recipe for the drink I am having by popular demand (which was my breakfast today) 1/2 small pineapple, 1 handful fresh blueberries, 1 handful fresh blackberries, 200g low-fat live yogurt (or soya yogurt or soya milk) 4 ice cubes. Juice the pineapple and pour into the blender along with the other ingredients and ice. Blend until smooth. #letsgo
BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE DIET FOR DETOX
For breakfast today, its 2 apples, 1 carrot, 1 slice lemon, 1/4 yellow bell pepper, 1 inch slice cucumber, (I did more than one slice) 1/4 piece celery, 1 inch broccoli stem, 1 inch slice raw beetroot (I also put more of this) and ice. Juice everything and blend with ice and it’s a refreshing breakfast! I think I am getting quite used to it now. The cravings are not bad today. I feel rejuvenated!
Woohoo!!! So today I am meant to have one meal then 2 liquid meals so I have my lunch packed. It’s half a spoon of basmati rice with half a spoon of green vegetables (efo) and half a spoon of steemed carrots with 2 pieces of grilled turkey. It’s really tiny food and I hope I can eat it. I was really hungry yesterday and I thought I would be jumping at food today but I am not. After 3 days on a strict liquid diet, I think the cravings are gone!
Anyway, my breakfast today is a smoothie made of soursop (I hope that’s what it’s called. Correct me if I am wrong), ginger, bananas, spinach, celery and ice. Its soooooo yummy!!! I could live on this! I hope this encourages and motivates someone! If I can do it, you can too! It’s not always about weight loss even though I lost over 2kilos after the 3 days detox but it’s about staying healthy and ridding your body of toxins that cause illness!
Dinner!!! Yum!!! So today I had a tiny portion of left over basmati rice from yesterday, some efo and grilled guinea fowl for breakfast, a smoothie for lunch and now this green smoothie for dinner. It contains 2 apples, a handful of spinach, 1/3 cucumber, 2 sticks of celery, juice of half a lemon and half an avocado. All blended together, makes this cup of utter goodness for my body! It’s great for the skin too! I hope you stay motivated!
