No beef with Reminisce & Olamide over ‘Local Rappers’- Modenine, TerryTha Rapman (T.R)

Rappers, Modenine and Terry Tha Rapman have denied rumours that they are at loggerheads with fellow rapper,Reminisce, on the release of his new single, Local Rappers.
SOURCES had gathered that both rappers had registered their displeasure withReminisce on some of the lines in the song.

But in separate telephone chat Mode 9 and Terry Tha Rapman said it was not true reiterating that Reminisce is their close friend.
“It’s false. Reminisce is my friend, we are even working on a song together. I’m not recording any song with Terry tha Rapman in reply to Local rapper. You heard it from the horses mouth” he stated.
Terry Tha Rapman, however admit that fans might believe the song was a sub at both himself and Mode 9 because of the word play, but deny existence of any rift between them.

”It’s not true. As a matter of fact, Reminisce is a close friend of Modenine and I and we understand how people will feel because of the lyrics of the song that it was directed at us, but trust me, it’s not. We are cool” Terry said.
Our source further hinted that both rappers might release a rap single in reply to Reminisce soon due to Twitter subs at Modenine by Reminisce’s fans. He described the development as “Jealousy of the highest order”.
Reminisce had earlier this month released ‘Local rapper’ a second single off his soon to be released third album, Baba Hafusa.
Local Rappers  features fellow local lingua rappers Olamide and Phyno with lyrics saying word play and punch lines are no longer in demand; rather, rap in local language is the  fans favourite.
The song also pointed out how indeginous rappers are enjoying the good life, getting the shows ahead of hard core rappers.
In recent times, the rap scene has witnessed the acceptance of rap in local language with OlamideReminisceholding it down for Yoruba language while Phyno, illbliss churning out rap in Igbo language.
