Pictured above is the lifeless body of a kidnapper who held a business woman on ransom for close to one week.
The victim identified as 62-year-old Kudirat was abducted from her home in Elemoro area of Ajah Lagos last week Thursday the 16th of April.
The kidnap gang led by Ondo-born Niyi Omosola had earlier demanded for N50 million ransom before the amount was reduced to N3 million.
Yesterday, Omosola collected N3million and on sighting the police, he engaged them in a fire battle on a motorcycle.
SARs operatives reportedly fired shots at him during the rescue operation.
His body has been deposited at a mortuary in the area.
