Governor Akinwumi Ambode has saved the life of a young market boy who was locked up in the boot of a car after being dragged and beaten by some air force officers.
This happened today in Mile 12 area of Ikorodu during Ambode’s inspection .
Ambode was returning from an inspection tour to Agbowa in Ikorodu when he saw the men and quickly intervened to save the life of the boy identified as Dahiru Lawal while he was gasping for breath.
The suspects identified as Abdullahi Fahad and Peters Solomon driving Chrysler Stratus car with registration # KRD 267 DV have been arrested for dehumanizing their fellow human being after the load he was carrying accidentally fell on the car.
Ambode wondered how such inhuman treatment could be meted to a fellow citizen just for slightly breaking the windscreen of a car.
