A fan from Ile Ife Osun State just sent us these two photos of a young man who will be buried alive with the newly crowned Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The unidentified young man is the new Abobaku for the Real estate businessman cum monarch.
The man will be tied and buried alive with the king on the day of his burial.
Abobaku means one who dies with the king. It is an ancient tradition in Ile Ife.
It is often done in secret to avoid Human Right abuse lawsuit.
