AHEAD OF JULY 24th GOVERNORS’ WIVES INTERACTIVE- DINNER ORGANIZE BY RCS & NYIF.
The Northern Youths Intellectual-Advocacy Forum (NYIF) in conjunction with Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) Nigeria, is bringing together the 36 Governors’ wives in an Interactive-Dinner to be declared open by her Excellency, the wife of Mr. President, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, theme:CHALLENGES AHEAD IN THE NEW ERA OF CHANGE.
The Common Wealth association is an association of fifty-four (54) countries. It Is an international partnership of countries delegated to co-operation and governed by mutual respect, member countries spread through Africa, Asia, the Caribbean,Europe, North America, the pacific and the Mediterranean.
The Royal Commonwealth Society of Nigeria is an autonomous society in Nigeria, a branch of Royal Commonwealth Society London. it was borne out of the necessity to promote in Nigeria, an understanding of the nature and workings of the Commonwealth, and of the factors which shapes the lives of its people and the policies of its government, through partnership with organization around the world, Royal Commonwealth Society programs and celebrations work to facilitate inter-cultural and inter-religious cooperation, strengthen families and communities, and foster a culture of services and peace.
The interaction is a leadership-enhancement platform rooted in promoting good governance,leadership acceptability -norms in line with international best practices, and general well-being of day-to-day running and managing the husband, and the Office of the First lady in the overall interest of the State.
This interactive session shall provide best possible solution for the daunting challenges ahead, as regards the Office of the Governors’ Wives in relation to image management, public interaction and general acceptable ethos. Whereas, the avenue shall provide an interactive-dinner in order to enable the first-timer and second –term First Lady meet, share ideas as well as relates amongst them.
It on this note; the NYIF with Youths Agenda collaborate with RCS to seek possible solutions to barrage of problems confronting Nigeria at this point of our political history. Whilst, an active participation in the democratic setting is very crucial, as every successful man requires active input from the spouse which is often lacking, that among many challenges the forum intend to address.
While thanking the audience of the Wife of Mr. President Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, it also goes to show a clear demonstration of uncommon display of humility, gender-sensitive and youths advocacy. Nonetheless, this event may go down well in the anal of history, as one that orchestrate the institutional- decorum amongst the Wives of Governors in Nigeria as exemplified by her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.
As we all awaits the Nicon Hilton showdown, Nigerians with patriotic interest on how move the Nation forward are expected to be part of the Change, and together Nigeria and Africa at large shall be better for it.
