News just reaching us indicates that men of the fire service are presently battling with a serious inferno that is destroying shops and properties worth millions at the popular mile 12 market in Lagos.
According to the reports, the heavy fire incident at the market started the early hours of this morning.
It was also reported that two persons have been confirmed dead, as men of the fire service are battling to put off the fire which is currently wreaking huge havoc.
However, speculations have it that the fire was caused by the unfortunate spillage of diesel, but as at the time the news got to us, security men are however on ground at the area to forestall peace and order.
