Blood flowed freely yesterday as some suspected Boko Haram fighters stormed the headquarters of the DSS (Department of State Service) in Lokoja, the capital city of Kogi state.
The terrorists who invaded the office around 10:20pm reportedly freed all the inmates in the agency’s detention.
The Deputy Director of the agency put a distress call to police at 10:40pm.
The military and police reportedly engaged the terrorists in a 7-hour fight that led to the death of 3 terrorists and a mobile policeman.
