Fear Of Arrest: Jonathan’s Minister Bala Mohammed Refunds N7Billion To Buhari’s Administration

bala mohammed returned 7 billion

Some corrupt ministers under the administration of the immediate past President of Nigeria have started returning their loots months after Buhari launched his anti-corruption campaign.
According to whispering birds in Abuja, former FCT minister under Goodluck Jonathan, Bala Mohammed has returned a whopping N7 billion from the N15billion contracts he allegedly awarded to a friend during GEJ tenure.
The 15 billion naira projects were never executed after his friend collected some percentage.

This development, it was gathered, was done to clear the ex-minister against any move by Buhari towards arresting him as corrupt officials in the country are being quizzed.
It will be recalled that Buhari had promised to treat those who return looted funds to government coffer with mercy as he promised to give them soft landing if they return their loot to the country’s treasury.
